The land of the giants and ettins. It occupies the eastern edge of the world of men, topped by the great stronghold of Utgard. Mountain giants are bound to their mountains. Their mothers, often called hags, are greater than the males. Some are not evil and may aid the gods as the hag Grid helped the god Thorr.
