Valhall is the hall of the slain, belonging to Odhinn. (Valhalla actually means halls, referring to all of Odhinn’s many halls (or homes). It is here in Valhall that Valkyries take slain warriors before Odhinn to be judged. Those who are deemed worthy will continue to fight and die every day in a great battlefield until they fight alongside their gods in the final battle of Ragnarok.

Valhall is rumored to be made of gold and lined with weapons; its roof, thatched with golden shields.
